I love crayons! They're so colorful and fun. I remember when I would always use crayons to draw because I thought pencils were only for writing letters and words.
You may recognize the title from Forrest Gump as a take-off on Tom Hanks' famous quote, "My momma always said, 'Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get.'"
I just think crayons depict life well because there are so many different colors and varieties (like personalities), even though they're all the same size and shape; just like people.
